completed and charge sheet has also been filed on 23.11.2019 and hence nothing survives in these petitions. In view of the above submissions, both the criminal original petitions are dismissed as infructuous. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed. However, it is seen that the second respondent police has filed the charge sheet, after the lapse of six years and there is no proper explanation offered for such an inordinate delay. Therefore, the Inspector General of Police for Coimbatore District, is directed to take action against the first respondent and second respondents and file a report on the same before this Court on 28.11.2019.
