ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register a case on the petitioner's complaint dated 20.12.2021 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. The petitioner was working as Collection Manger in Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company. One Praveen S/o.Ravikumar without paying the monthly installments sold the hypothecated vehicle to one Tharun Kumar, hence, they recovered the said vehicle. The said Praveen and Tharun Kumar hand in glove with each other threatened the petitioner to hand over the seized vehicle. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint on 20.12.2021, but no action has been taken.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that if the petitioner appears before the respondent Police along with a copy of the complaint, necessary action will be taken.

4. At this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions submitted that the petitioner will appear before the respondent Police on 10.02.2022.

5. In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent Police on 10.02.2022 along with a copy of the complaint and other supporting documents. Thereafter, the second respondent shall take further action in accordance with law.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
