C O M M O N O R D E R Both these writ petitions are filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to number the applications dated 27.09.2017 & 11.07.2017 respectively and dispose of the same within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3. It is stated by the petitioners that they have filed the above applications before the respondent for declaring them as Hereditary Trustees of a Temple called "Arulmigu Mariamman and Karupparayam Temples" situated at Linganoor Village, Telungupalayam, Coimbatore District.

4. The grievance of the petitioners is that even though the said applications were filed, the respondent has not heard the matter by numbering the applications so far. Therefore, this Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioners in the applications filed before the respondent. However, as it is stated that these applications are yet to be numbered by the respondent, these writ petitions are disposed of, only with a direction to the respondent to consider those applications filed by the petitioners and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and other parties interested, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the respondent, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
