..Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for writ of certiorarified mandamus, calling for the proceedings of the 2nd Respondent in Rc.No.24226/2002/A2 dated 13.05.2003 and quash the same and consequently direct the Respondents to regularise the service of the petitioner in the post of Work Inspector with effect from his date of joining as per G.O.MS.No.93 dated 28.05.1998 of (MANS Dept.) and G.O.Ms.No.125 dated 27.05.1999(MANS Dept) with all attendant benefits.

ORDER
The prayer sought for in the writ petition is to call for the proceedings of the 2nd Respondent in Rc.No.24226/2002/A2 dated 13.05.2003 and quash the same and consequently direct the Respondents to regularise the service of the petitioner in the post of Work Inspector with effect from his date of joining as per G.O.ms.No.93 dated 28.05.1998 of (MANS Dept.) and G.O.Ms.No.125 dated 27.05.1999(MANS Dept) with all attendant benefits.
2. Originally the petitioner herein has filed an Original https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Application in O.A. No 1920 of 2004 before the State Administrative Tribunal. Due to abolition of State Administrative Tribunal, this Original Application was transferred to the High Court and converted as Writ Petition and renumbered as W.P.No. 17444 of 2007.
3. Today when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Government Pleader produced a letter in Na.Ka.No. 1608/2018/A2, dated 17.11.2020 and submitted that the petitioner's service has been regularised w.e.f. 03.12.2010 vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No.3488/2010/A3. He further submitted that, due to the reason that the respondent had complied with the petitioner's request, the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the writ petition.
4. In view of the representation made by the learned Additional Government Pleader that the petitioner's service has been regularised, there is nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition and the writ petition is liable to be dismissed.
5. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
