ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to cancel the patta Nos.8631 and 8772 standing in the name of the private respondents, namely respondents 5 to 7 for the properties morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, based on the petitioners' representation, dated 01.12.2025.
2. The petitioners claim that arbitrarily and illegally patta Nos.8631 and 8772 have been issued in the name of the respondents 5 to
7. The petitioners seek for cancellation of the same. They have given a Page No.2 of 7
representation on 01.12.2025 to the 2nd respondent, who is the competent authority to cancel the patta. Since the said representation was not been considered, the petitioners have filed this writ petition.
3. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4. Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondents 5 to 7 in this writ petition, notice to the respondents 5 to 7 is dispensed with by this Court.
4. No prejudice would be caused to any of the respondents, if the petitioners' representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections, if any, from the respondents 5 to 7 as well as any other third party, whom the 2nd respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioners' representation.

For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to treat the petitioners' representation dated 01.12.2025 as an appeal and the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the same seeking for cancellation of patta Nos.8631 and 8772 standing in the name of the respondents 5 to 7 for the properties morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after hearing the objections, if any from the respondents 5 to 7, and any other third party, whom the 2nd respondent deems it fit to enquire and by adhering to the principles of natural justice.
7. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
