ORDER
(The Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM,J) Mr.V.P.R.Elamparithi, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2.The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue community certificate to the petitioner considering her representations dated 29.11.2018 and 01.07.2019. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner Mr.J.Hariharan would submit that the petitioner belongs to Kattunayagan Community, which comes under the Schedule Tribe category. He further added that the petitioner sought for community certificate by submitting an application and subsequently, sent representations to the respondents, but no order has been passed so far. Hence, the present writ petition. 4.It is the further submission of the learned counsel that it would suffice to direct the second respondent to pass orders on the application and representations of the petitioner. 5.The learned Additional Government Pleader, on instruction, would state that the application submitted for community certificate is pending with the second respondent and he is ready to pass orders in accordance with law.
6.In the light of the submissions of the learned counsels and also taking note of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to pass orders on the application and the representations submitted by the petitioner dated 29.11.2018 and 01.07.2019, in accordance with law, after affording opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7.With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
