O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to quash the order dated 28/4/2015, passed by the first respondent in Na.Ka.No.1372/2015/A3 dated 28/4/2015 and consequently, direct the respondents to allow the petitioner to discharge her duty as Executive Officer/Panchayat President of Nadupatti Village Panchayat, Uthankarai Taluk, Krishnagiri District.

2. Heard Mr.A.Rajesh Kanna, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.N.Naveen Kumar, learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

3. In the year 2011, the petitioner got selected as a President of Nadupatti Village Panchayat, in the local body election. Impugned order, dated 28/4/2015 has been passed by the first respondent, thereby, suspending the petitioner from functioning as Executive Officer/Panchayat President of Nadupatti Village Panchayat. As on today, seven years have gone. Subsequent elections were held for the post of President. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 4/1/2023 mvs.
