ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 01.12.2021 for the offence under Sections 294(b), 341, 364-A and 506 (ii) of IPC @ 147, 148 294(b), 341, 364A, 120B, 506(ii) IPC and Section 25(1B) of Arms Act in Cr.No.1957 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused persons were abducted the defacto complainant and demanded money, where one of the accused made phone call to Sethupathi and Thoppai Ganesh to give Rs.1,00,000/- and also threatened the defacto complainant to give Rs.1,00,000/- , thereafter, the defacto complainant called to his wife and she pledged the chain and give Rs.19,500/- to her husband after getting the money, the accused released the defacto complainant. From the accused persons, one hand gun and knife and two wheelers were seized by the defacto complainant. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not committed any such offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has falsely implicated in this case. He further submits that the petitioner has been suffering incarceration for 60 days from 01.12.2021. Hence, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) raised objection stating that totally there are 8 accused involved in this case and the petitioner is arrayed as A5 and he is having one previous case. One of the co-accused persons is yet to be secured. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by both counsel and also considering the gravity of offence committed by the petitioner , this court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
