The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent herein to issue patta to the petitioner for the property situated at a plot bearing plot No.XIB and measuring an extent of 166.39 sq.mt. in the approved layout vide No. P.P.D/ L.O No. 26/ 2010 comprised in Old Survey No. 8/2 and New Survey No. 155/2 (part) Acres 15/98 out of Acres 63.88 and in old survey No. 9 and New Survey No. 156 (Part) Acres 16.52 out of Acres 21.00 totaling Acres 32.50 as per patta No. 3311 in New Survey No. 155/2B1 and 156/2A and out of Acres of Plot No. XIIB A Comprised in New Survey No.156/2A 156/2A1A1A1A situated at No. 118 Padiayanallur Village Ponneri Taluk Thiruvallur District.

In respect of the property situated at Old Survey No. 8/2 and New Survey No. 155/2 (part) Acres 15/98 out of Acres 63.88 and in old survey No. 9 and New Survey No. 156 (Part) Acres 16.52 out of Acres 21.00 totaling Acres 32.50 as per patta No. 3311 in New Survey No. 155/2B1 and 156/2A and out of Acres of Plot No. XIIB A Comprised in New Survey No.156/2A 156/2A1A1A1A situated at No. 118 Padiayanallur Village Ponneri Taluk Thiruvallur District, the petitioner had given an application on 17.10.2022 to the Revenue Tahsildar for issuance of subdivision patta. In order to consider the same, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition.

4. Learned Government Advocate submit that the application submitted by the petitioner would be considered by the 2nd respondent on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order.

"That the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the application dated 17.10.2022 submitted by the petitioner and pass necessary orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
