ORDER

The prayer sought for in the writ petition is to direct the respondents to bring the Petitioner into the regular establishment with all consequential benefits.

2. Originally the petitioner herein has filed an Original Application in O.A. No 2053 of 2004 before the State Administrative Tribunal. Due to abolition of State Administrative Tribunal, this Original Application was transferred to the High Court and converted as Writ Petition and renumbered as W.P.No. 17708 of 2007.

3. Today when the matter was taken up for consideration, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has submitted that the petitioner died on 16.10.2017 itself and he has also produced a copy of the Death Certificate issued by the Tahsildar in N.V.No.178/2018/A5, dated 21.03.2018 and Legal Heirship certificate dated 19.07.2018. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. In view of the fact that petitioner died in the year 2017 itself and no steps have been taken by the legal heirs of the petitioner till date to pursue the case, this writ petition is liable to be dismissed.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as abated. No costs.
