Originally this petition has been filed as Original Application No.2000 of 2004 before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal at Chennai and after abolition of TNAT, petition has been transferred and numbered as W.P.No.17758 of 2007. Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the respondent in Se.Mu.Na.Ka.No.3081/2002/Aa1 dated 27.01.2004 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to reinstate the applicant in the post of Office Assistant with all other benefits.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the respondent in Se.Mu.Na.Ka.No.3081/2002/Aa1 dated 27.01.2004; quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to reinstate the applicant in the post of Office Assistant with all other benefits

2. It is averred in the writ petition that the petitioner has filed the Original Application before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal, Chennai. Subsequently, due to abolition of the Tribunal, this matter was transferred to this Court and renumbered as W.P.No.17758 of 2007.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that nothing survives in this writ petition to be adjudicated upon further. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

4. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
