ORDER
(Order of this Court was made by R.SUBBIAH,J.) The writ petition has been filed for mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 13.01.2020 expeditiously.
2.Though very many contentions have been raised in this writ petition, ultimately the prayer of the petitioner is to direct the first respondent to consider his appeal filed on 13.01.2020 as against the lock and seal notice within a time frame. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent, the learned counsel appearing for R2 and the learned counsel appearing for R3 and R4.
4.Since the scope of the writ petition is in the narrow compass, we are not traversed to the averments made in the affidavit. In view of the submission made by either side, this Court hereby directs the first respondent to dispose of the Appeal filed by the petitioner, by affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till such time, both the parties are directed to maintain status quo.
5.With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. Consequently, W.M.P. No.1900 of 2020 stands closed. No costs.
