Originally this petition has been filed as Original Application No.812 of 2004 before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal at Chennai and after abolition of TNAT, petition has been transferred and numbered as W.P.No.17812 of 2007. Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorari to call for the records relating to the second respondent herein in Proc.No.21275/Admn.II (2)/2001 dated 03.02.2004 and quash the same insofar as revising the seniority of the applicant by keeping the personnel absorbed from the Department of Land and Survey above the applicant is concerned.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed calling for records of the second respondent herein in Proc.No.21275/Admn.II (2)/2001 dated 03.02.2004 and quash the same insofar as revising the seniority of the petitioner by keeping the personnel absorbed from the Department of Land and Survey.

2. It is averred in the writ petition that the petitioner has filed the Original Application before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal, Chennai. Subsequently, due to abolition of the Tribunal, this matter was transferred to this Court and renumbered as W.P.No.17812 of 2007.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous and nothing survives in this writ petition to be adjudicated upon further.
