Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to grant medical leave to the petitioner for the period from 30.06.2003 to 10.07.2003 and to regularize the period from 11.07.2003 to 24.07.2003 for all purposes and to disburse pay and allowances for the above periods.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to grant medical leave to the petitioner for the period from 30.06.2003 to 10.07.2003 and to regularize the period from 11.07.2003 to 24.07.2003 for all purposes and to disburse pay and allowances for the said periods.

2. There is no representation on the side of the petitioner. Heard learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

Originally the petitioner has filed Original Application in O.A.No.2171 of 2004 before the State Administrative Tribunal to direct the respondents to grant medical leave to the petitioner for the period from 30.06.2003 to 10.07.2003 and to regularize the period from 11.07.2003 to 24.07.2003 for all purposes and to disburse pay and allowances for the said periods. Due to abolition of State Administrative Tribunal, the said Original Application was transferred to the file of this Court and renumbered as W.P.No.17941 of 2007

4. Learned Government Advocate would submit that medical leave was sanctioned to the petitioner from the period from 30.06.2003 and 10.07.2003. He would further submit that the petitioner was given all the benefits sought for in this writ petition and he was also retired from service and availed all the benefits. He has also produced a copy of the proceedings in S.L.Gi.2858/A4/2020, dated 24.11.2020 to that effect.

5. Recording the same, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
