ORDER

The petitioners have come forward with this petition to enlarge the petitioners not to harass by the respondents. 2.No representation for the petitioners.

3.Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint given by one Ms.K.Vijaya, a petition enquiry in CSR No.296 of 2015 is being conducted by the respondent police and a counter case in CSR No.243 of 2015 is also pending. 5.In my considered opinion, no blanket direction as prayed for by the petitioners could be given. If the petitioners are wanted either for enquiry or for interrogation, they can very well be summoned by the respondent police, and while doing so, the petitioners shall not be harassed. At the same time, the petitioners should submit themselves to the respondent police for interrogation and enquiry. It is made clear that this order will not shield if the petitioner is involved in cognizable offence. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
