... Respondents PRAYER : Originally this petition has been filed as Original Application No.1257 of 2004 before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal at Chennai and after abolition of TNAT, petition has been transferred and numbered as W.P.No.18296 of 2007.

Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the orders of the first respondent dated 03.08.2000 issued in G.O.Ms.No.304 Agriculture Department and the order dated 06.01.2003 issued in Letter No. 20536/AA3(2)/01-6 and the order of the second respondent dated 20.03.2001 issued in No.2356 of 2000 and the order of the third respondent dated 16.02.2004 issued in No.a.1106/94 (1) and quash the same and further direct the respondent to regularize the service of the applicant in the post of Inspector of Hand Boring sets with effect from 04.07.1986 and to award all consequential benefits.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the proceedings of the first respondent dated 03.08.2000 issued in G.O.Ms.No.304 Agriculture Department, order dated 06.01.2003 issued in Letter No. 20536/AA3(2)/01-6, order of the second respondent dated 20.03.2001 issued in No.2356 of 2000 and the order of the third respondent dated 16.02.2004 issued in No.a.1106/94 (1) and to quash the same and further direct the respondents to regularize the service of the petitioner in the post of Inspector of Hand Boring sets with effect from 04.07.1986 and to award consequential benefits.

2. The representative counsel appearing for the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the counsel for the petitioner is not ready to argue the matter and seeks time for adjournment.

3. Since the matter is pending from the year 2004 and even after giving several opportunities to the petitioner, the learned counsel for the petitioner is not ready. Considering the same, this Writ Petition stands dismissed for nonprosecution. No costs.
