O R D E R

This writ petition is filed for a mandamus, directing the respondent herein to consider the petitioner's application dated 21.12.2020 for the grant of Contract Carriage Maxi Cab permit for his vehicle number TN-21/AE-0141.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he has made an application for Contract Carriage Maxi Cab permit as on 21.12.2020 and assigned a number in R.No.41798/B3/2020 to the application but the Maxi Cab permit has not been granted so far and therefore, the petitioner has approached this Court for a mandamus.

3. Mr.Annai Ezhil, the learned Government Adovcate for the respondent herein has admitted the receipt of application from the petitioner for the Maxi Cab. Based on the written instructions given by the respondent, he would submit that the permit fee for the vehicle has not been paid by the petitioner and he further stated that the payment of permit fee for the vehicle should be paid immediately.

4. Based on the written instructions given by the respondent, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to pay the permit fee to the respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
