Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the order passed by the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.1469/Aaaa5/2013 dated 29.05.2013 and quash the same and direct the respondents to promote the petitioner as BT Assistant Maths in Municipal Middle School, Kamaraj Nagar, Avadi Municipality, Chennai -71, on the basis of the Panel drawn for the year 2013-2014 and confer all the consequential benefits to the petitioner. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to quash the order passed by the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.1469/Aaaa5/2013 dated 29.05.2013 and also direct the respondents to promote the petitioner as BT Assistant Maths in Municipal Middle School, Kamaraj Nagar, Avadi Municipality, Chennai -71, on the basis of the Panel drawn for the year 2013-2014 and confer all the consequential benefits to the petitioner. 2.

Today when the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned

counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous, since the petitioner got promotion as B.T Assistant Maths on 24.08.2015, and nothing survive in the present petition. She also made an endorsement in the Court bundle to that effect. 3.

Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to cost.
