2. Devendhiran This case is taken up for settlement before the Lok Adalat. Mr.K.J.Sivakumar, learned counsel for the appellant is present. There was no appearance for the respondent.

TERMS OF SETTLEMENT The Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation is the appellant in this appeal and they have questioned the quantum of compensation awarded by the Tribunal.

The claim petition was filed for a total claim of Rs.3,00,000/. The tribunal has passed an award for a sum of Rs.4,52,880/-. The entire compensation amount has been deposited by the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation. The Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation is now not pressing this appeal and the appeal is dismissed as not pressed. The claimant is entitled to withdraw the entire amount deposited by the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation with accrued interest.

2. The Tribunal is directed to transfer the amount through RTGS/NEFT to the party concerned on proper identification in accordance with the terms of the award, without insisting on any formal permission petition. The Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed, if any.
