Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.G.

Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time granted by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.2450 of 2021, dated 24.02.2021, to surrender the petitioner before the concerned Magistrate to furnish sureties. 2.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that due to Covid-19 pandemic situation, the petitioner could not able to surrender before the concerned Magistrate within the stipulated time. Hence, he prays to extend the time. 3.

Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner that since the petitioner could not able to surrender before the concerned Magistrate within the stipulated time, this petition is ordered and the time for surrendering the petitioner before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tambaram, to furnish sureties, is extended by two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. -sd/- 10/02/2022 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
