ORDER
This Court, while disposing the writ petition in W.P.No.35152 of 2016, by order dated 04.10.2016, directed the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner with regard to revision of date of promotion, and to pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks.
2.The present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioners alleging non-compliance of the order dated 04.10.2016 passed by this Court.
3.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that on the representation of the petitioner, the respondent has passed an order dated 11.08.2017 rejecting the claim of the petitioner. He has also produced a copy of the order passed by the respondents. Thus, he submitted that the order of this Court has been duly complied with by the respondents.
4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives in this contempt petition and
accordingly, the same is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order passed by the respondent in the manner known to law, if she is so advised.
