O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to give police protection to the petitioner to evict the 2nd respondent from the premises at Plot No.94, Defence Colony, No.10, Muthapudupet Village, Ambattur Taluk, Tiruvallur District, comprised in Survey No.23/3, to enable the petitioner to take possession of the property.

2. When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent submitted that the matter is pending before the Honourable Supreme Court and on 24.09.2015, the Honourable Supreme Court has ordered status quo.

3. In view of the order passed by the Honourable Supreme Court, this Court is of the opinion that the direction as sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. Hence, the criminal original petition stands dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach this Court, at a later point of time, after the disposal of the case pending before the Honourable Supreme Court.
