Respondents Prayer:- The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the respondents, relating to the order of the respondent in Rc.No.Va.Va.1/64058/07, dated 04.05.2007 and quash the same and direct the respondent herein to forthwith transfer the leasehold rights in respect of Old No.38, New No.13 of Nandanam Colony, Chennai 600 035 in the name of the petitioner.

Heard Mr.K.Doraisami, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Bharath Kumar, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioner has come forward with this petition to quash the order of the respondent dated 04.05.2007, whereby, the request of the petitioner to transfer the leasehold premises was rejected.

3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner had vacated the premises and the possession was handed over to the Tamil Nadu Housing Board. Thereafter, the house was allotted to a third party. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. In the light of the above submission, I am of the view that nothing survives for consideration in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
