ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent police to conduct enquiry and initiate appropriate action __________Page 1 of 4
against 3rd respondent on the basis of the representation of the petitioner dated 09.11.2025.

The case of the petitioner is that the third respondent who is an Inspector of Police, had harassed and exploited her and had also unlawfully taken away her jewels. In this regard, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 09.11.2025 to the first respondent seeking appropriate action against the third respondent. Since no action has been taken, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present Writ Petition. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was subjected to exploitation by the third respondent and that she has lodged a complaint against him before the first respondent. As no action has been initiated till date, the present Writ Petition has been filed seeking appropriate relief.
4.The learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the representation of the petitioner dated 09.11.2025 has been received by the first respondent. Considering that the petitioner is a woman, the representation has been forwarded to a lady officer, namely, the Senior Superintendent of Police (POP) and an enquiry is presently __________Page 2 of 4
being conducted by her. It was further submitted that the said representation would be disposed of within a period of four weeks.

Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Court directs the Senior Superintendent of Police (POP) to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.11.2025 and dispose of the same, on its own merits and in accordance with law, wihtin a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
