ORDER

The petitioner has moved the third respondent with his representation dated 28.09.2019 to cancel the entries in the patta, chitta and adangal as concerning her property in S.Nos126/2, New S.No.126/8, Abaradhari Village, Nagapttinam Taluk & District, which stands in the name of a certain Revathi, and to mutate the same in her name.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Mr.M.Manigopi, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents, and makes a statement on instruction that the enquiry for the purpose is scheduled to take place at 3.00 p.m., on 05.05.2021 in the office of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Nagapattinam / third respondent. The said statement is recorded.

In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given except that the Revenue Divisional Officer, Nagapattinam is directed to hold an enquiry after issuing notices to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, and after providing the parties a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the said representation through a speaking order within a period of twelve (12) weeks (after the conclusion of the General Election of the Tamil Nadu State Legislative Assembly, 2021) from 05.05.2021.

4. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
