The relief sought for in this Writ Petition is to direct the third respondent not to proceed with seniority list dated 30.1.2014 prepared by the third respondent for the post of Wireman (RWE) cadre and further directing the third respondent to fix promotion granted to the petitioner for the post of Helper with effect from 2009 instead of 2012 as per B.P. (F.B) No.45 dt 6.9.2007. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner submitted that the writ petitioner was appointed on temporary casual labour during 1990 in Tamil Nadu Electricity Board and thereafter, he was regularly absorbed and now working in permanent Establishment. Since, there is delay in granting promotion to the writ petitioner, resulting loss of seniority, the learned counsel submitted that the writ petitioner is unable to get his further promotions on par with his batch mates.

3.Thus, without going into the merits and demerits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner dated 10.02.2014, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
