O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 07.06.2018 and to

pass orders within a time fixed by this Court. 2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner School was sanctioned with the post of P.G. Assistant (History) in the year 1983. On 31.05.2018, the post of P.G. Assistant (History) fell vacant in the petitioner School. Since, there are lesser number of classes for both History and Economics, the P.G. Assistant (Economics) was made to handle both the subjects. The grievance of the petitioner is that there are more classes for the subject of Commerce and there are no P.G. Assistants (Commerce) to handle the same. Therefore, the petitioner has made a representation to the respondent to consider the post of P.G.Assistant (Commerce). Since, the representation did not evoke any response, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

3.Heard Mr.A.Mohamed Ismail, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.A.Rajaperumal, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner School on 07.06.2019 and pass appropriate orders strictly in accordance with law, considering the necessity to allot the post of P.G. Assistant (Commerce), within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the 3rd respondent along with the copy of the representation dated 07.06.2019 and a copy of this order.

5.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No Costs.
