This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.10.2017.

2. When the matter was taken up today for hearing, neither the petitioner was represented by any counsel nor he was present in person. The writ petition has been pending for more than 5 years. It appears that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the matter further. Thus, this court is inclined to dismiss the writ petition for non-prosecution.

3. This writ petition is dismissed accordingly for non prosecution No costs.
