Heard Mr. R.Saravanan, Learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioners and Mr. M.R.Gokulakrishnan, Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the First, Second and Fourth Respondents and Mr. M.Loganathan, Learned Counsel appearing for the Third Respondent and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties. 2.

The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the First Respondent to consider the representation dated 19.02.2016 made by the Petitioners for including the degree holders to be eligible for recruitment to the post of Laboratory Technician.

Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the First, Second and Fourth Respondents has brought to notice that in view of Section 25(b) of 2/4

the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016, which has come into force with effect from 20.07.2017, the relief sought by the Petitioner has been granted. As such, nothing remains for further consideration in the Writ Petition.
