Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing 1 to 3 respondents herein to transfer the Tenancy Right to the shops vide Nos. 6 & 7, situated at Maddox Street, Choolai, Chennai - 600 112 in favour of the petitioner herein as per the order in Na.Ka.11415/2010/A3, dated 23.04.2012 issued by 1 to 3 respondents herein on the basis of the petitioner's representation last dated 13.03.2017.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to transfer the Tenancy Right to the Shop Nos. 6 & 7 situated at Maddox Street, Choolai, Chennai - 600 112 in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

favour of the petitioner as per the order dated 23.04.2012 issued by the respondents 1 to 3 on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 13.03.2017.

2. Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents submitted that the first respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.03.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law within four weeks time.

3. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.03.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance of law, within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of.No costs.
