O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking police protection based on the representation given by the petitioner on 20.01.2024.

2. Heard Mr.R.Sankarasubbu, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.A.Gopinath, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for R1, R2 and Mr.E.C.Ramesh, learned counsel for R3.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that during the pendency of this writ petition, the entire structure was razed down and the petitioner sustained huge loss. In the considered view of this Court, the issue that has been raised by the learned counsel for the petitioner cannot be dealt with in this writ petition. It is left open to the petitioner to raise this issue before the appropriate forum and seek for the compensation.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents 1 & 2 submitted that on the representation of the petitioner, no current paper or CSR has been assigned till date and a decision will be taken on the petitioner's representation dated 20.01.2024 at the earliest.

5. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is disposed of directing the respondent police to take a decision on the 2/4

petitioner's representation dated 20.01.2024 within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. 11.03.2024 Index : Yes/No Speaking Order/Non-Speaking Order KP To 1.District Superintendent of Police Perambalur District Perambalur.
