ORDER
The case has been heard through video conference The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Section 392 of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Women Harassment Act, in Crime No.15 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is the relative of the defacto complainant. On 19.01.2021 the petitioner had attempted to snatch the chain and misbehaved to the defacto complainant and assaulted her and caused severe injuries. Hence, the complaint was registered.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that there is no previous case pending as against the petitioner. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner is the relative of the defacto complainant. On 19.01.2021 the petitioner had attempted to snatch the chain and misbehaved to the defacto complainant and assaulted her and caused severe injuries. Hence he vehemently opposed to grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the petitioner has involved in very serious offence and the defacto complainant is a lady, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
