College, Pillaichavadi, Pondicherry - 14 the 2nd respondent herein and quash the same arbitrary, unreasonable, ulterior motive, ultravirus and against the rules and principles of natural justice in so far as the professor and Assistant Professors are concerned and there by direct the respondent to apply the rule of reservations and further direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner Association Members as Professor and Assistant Professors in this 2nd respondent Engineering College.

2.There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner for several hearings. On 14.12.2020, the matter is adjourned to 22.12.2020 under the caption 'for dismissal'. Even though, when the matter was taken up today (i.e. 22.12.2020), none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Since this writ petition is pending from the year 2007 i.e., morethan 13 years, the petitioner Association is not interested to proceed furhter .
