Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel appearing for the fourth respondent submitted in unison that the petitioner made a representation to the respondents requesting to take departmental action against the fourth respondent, however, the fourth respondent had already retired from service and therefore, nothing survives in this petition for further adjudication.

2. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel appearing for the fourth respondent, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
