Prayer: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of mandamus directing the 2nd and 3rd Respondent authorities to return all original certificates of the petitioner that were submitted by her at the time of her admission to M.D (Microbiology) course during the year 2015 at the 3rd Respondent college along with her post Graduation certificates.

The petitioner underwent the post graduate course in M.D. (Microbiology) in the Government Kilpauk Medical College in 2015 and submitted all the original certificates at the time. The petitioner now seeks return of the original documents.

2. As per order of this Court in W.A.No.799 of 2018 dated 06.10.2020, candidates who have not been offered appointment within a period of two years are entitled for release of their certificates on verification of the appointment and posting order particulars, that have been received from the the Director of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. In this regard, Mr.Jayapraksh, learned Government Advocate for the respondents places on record a confirmation dated 16.02.2022 to the effect that no offer of appointment was made to the petitioner when the petitioner completed the course till date. Thus, he confirms that the petitioner is entitled for return of the document as sought. This is recorded.

3. The petitioner shall be handed back the documents by R3 for which purpose she shall attend the office of R3 on 21.02.2022.

4. This writ petition is allowed in the above terms. No costs.
