Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the relief sought by the petitioner has become infructuous since he had already been furnished with a copy of G.O.Ms.No.1180, Public Works Department, dated 18.04.1960 and therefore, nothing survives in this petition for further adjudication.
