JUDGMENT

This civil miscellaneous appeal has been preferred by the appellant against the order dated 19.09.2011 passed under Section 47 1 (A) of the Indian Stamps Act by the Inspector General of Registration, Mylapore, Chennai, in Pa.Mu.No.24669/No.1/2009, modifying the order dated 31.12.2007 passed by the District Revenue Officer (Stamps) Chennai, in Na.Ka.C.Pa.No.12 of 2003.

2. After hearing Mr.K.V.Babu, learned counsel appearing for the appellant and Mr.M.Venkadesh Kumar, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, this Court disposes of the appeal with a direction to the appellant to approach the appropriate authority under 'Samathan Scheme' regarding the issue involved in this case. When the appellant approaches the appropriate authority viz., Special Deputy Collector (Stamps), the said Authority shall consider the claim of the appellant as per law. No costs. The connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
