ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent not to harass and not to disturb the petitioners life.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that there is a dispute between the petitioners and the second respondent in respect of his daughter's marriage with second petitioner. He further submitted that the said second respondent gave a false complaint against the petitioners and based on the same, the first respondent is unnecessarily harassing the petitioners and therefore, they prayed to direct the first respondent not to harass the petitioners.

3. Per contra, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that since the complaint has been received against the petitioners, the petitioners were called only for enquiry purpose and they were not subjected to any harassment. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. If the said complaint discloses any cognizable offence, the first respondent has to register a case. In case, the said complaint does not disclose any cognizable offence, the first respondent can conduct preliminary enquiry with the complainant and if the said enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, he can register a case and proceed further in accordance with law. Instead of that he should not unnecessarily harass the petitioner.

5. With the aforesaid directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
