O R D E R

The prayer sought for in this writ petition is to calling for the records of the first respondent herein in explanation II to Rule 2-B of the Special Rules for Tamil Nadu School Education Service brought by way of amendment vide G.O.Ms.No.181 School Education Department dated 29.10.2001 and quash the same and consequently include the name of the petitioners in the panel for promotion to the post of Headmaster of High School for the year 2013-2014 and consequently promote the petitioners.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioners seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition insofar as writ petitioners 1,4 and 5 are concerned. He has also submitted a letter dated 20.11.2019 and made an endorsement to that effect.

3. In view of the letter dated 20.11.2019 and the endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioners, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn insofar as writ petitioners 1,4 and 5 are concerned. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
