The relief sought by the petitioner in this writ petition is to call for the records pertaining to impugned Charge Memo bearing No.GM (NKS)/DA/IR/213/541/2016-17, dated 20.10.2016 of the first respondent and enquiry report dated 04.01.2020 of the third respondent, quash the same.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that this writ petition has been filed to quash the charge memo dated 20.10.2016 issued against the petitioner, however, enquiry was conducted and punishment was imposed against the petitioner on 31.01.2020. Hence, the matter has become infructuous and nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication. Page No.2 of 4

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the respondents and the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner to that effect in the case bundle, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
