O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 08.11.2023 made by the petitioner, wherein, a request to relocate the KIOSK to the new premises of the third respondent was made within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.
2. The petitioner was allotted KIOSK for vending snacks, tea, coffee etc., at the premises of the third respondent under the self-employment scheme. He was running such KIOSK since 1981. When the petitioner applied for annual renewal of the agreement to run the KIOSK in the third respondent premises, the same was rejected vide order dated 02.04.2021. Immediately, the petitioner approached this Court by filing W.P.No.11000 of 2021 challenging the said proceedings and this Court had granted an order of interim stay and the said writ petition is pending. Based on the said order, the petitioner has renewed the annual increment regularly.
While so, the Government Medical College and Hospital, Nammakkal District has been shifted to a new premise in November 2023. However, the petitioner's request for shifting KIOSK from the existing place to new premise was not accepted by the third respondent. The petitioner sent representations in this regard on 30.06.2023 and 08.11.2023, however, the same were not considered. Hence, this Writ Petition is filed.
3. It is stated by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents that the premises where the petitioner was running KIOSK is currently located to some other person and the same is running now and therefore, the petitioner's request cannot be considered.
4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, this Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be on order as to costs.
