This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of police enquiry, in respect of the tenancy problem of the petitioner.

2.When this Criminal Original Petition was taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, submitted that there is no harassment by the respondent police, as alleged by the petitioner. He also submitted that the matter is relating only to tenancy, arrears of rent and also the parking of cars, which is not permissible, as per the agreement entered into between the parties. The submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is placed on record.

3.Since the matter relates to tenancy, it is open to the respective parties to agitate the same before the competent Court by filing appropriate application.
