This writ petition is filed praying to issue a writ of Certiorari, to call for the records relating to the Seniority list of Elementary School Head Masters of Vedaranyam Union, and the consequential panel as on 01.01.2007 and approved by the third respondent on 20.04.2007.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

3. However, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1-3 would submit that the petitioner was subsequently considered for the promotion and also promoted as Head Master in the Elementary School at Panchanathikulam, 2nd Ward on 02.06.2008. Therefore, nothing survives in this writ petition and the same has become infructuous. Accordingly, copy of the promotion order in Na.Ka.847 dated 02.06.2008 passed by the Additional/Assistant Elementary Educational https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Officer, Vedaranyam, to the petitioner, has been produced before this Court.

Recording the above submissions made by the learned Government Advocate and the promotion order dated 02.06.2008 was passed to the petitioner, it is presumed that there is nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication since the petitioner is not interested to proceed the case even after getting promotion in the year 2008.
