ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the order bearing Na.Ka.No.55966 EE1/2011 dated 11.06.2012 of the 1st respondent and order bearing Na.Ka.No.1365/A1/2011-2 dated 20.06.2012 of the 2nd respondent and quash the same.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that in view of the interim order passed by this Court on 12.10.2012, the petitioner is working in the same place at Hosur in Krishnagiri District, where he was working at the time of filing the writ petition and hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that since the petitioner is continuing in the same place as Maistry in view of the interim order passed by this Court for the last 12 years from 20.06.2012, he may be permitted to work in the same place till his retirement i.e., till 31.12.2025. 2/14

4. Considering the above submissions made on either side, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to permit the petitioner to work in the same place till his retirement i.e., till 31.12.2025 since he is only a Maistry which is a class IV post.

5. This writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid direction. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. 10.01.2024 dpq Index :
