This case came up for settlement before the Lok Adalat. Mr.M.Chidambaram, learned counsel appeared for the petitioner. After mutual discussion and negotiation between both the parties arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows:

TERMS OF SETTLEMENT The original 2nd respondent viz., B.Krishnan, the workman died on 31.03.2022, leaving behind Tmt.K.Nalini, his wife, aged about 42 years and Mr.Rahul, aged about 18 years, his son. It is represented that there are no other legal heirs except the above two. In the said circumstance, the said Nalini and Rahul are brought on record as the respondents 3 and 4 in the writ petition.

2. Both sides present and after negotiation they have amicably resolved the issue and filed a joint memo of compromise.

3. The writ petition shall stand disposed of in terms of the joint compromise memo and the joint compromise memo shall form part of the order in the writ petition. Connected miscellaneous petition/s, if any, is/are closed.

The full court fee paid shall be refunded to the appellant in the manner provided under Section 69-A of the Tamil Nadu Court Fees and suits Valuation Act, 1955 and the Court Fees Act, 1870 as provided for under sub Sec.1 of Section 2 r/w 25 of LSA Act 1987 as amended in 1994.
