ORDER

The petitioner has come up with the present writ petition for a mandamus, directing the respondents to remove his name from the History sheeted record kept in the second respondent police station and forbearing the respondents from harassing or disturbing peaceful life of him without any cause of action.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that as a subsequent event, the name of the petitioner came to be removed by the authorities concerned, by proceedings dated 1.1.2016 in C.No.5/AC.Amb/Camp/16. He has also produced a copy of the said proceedings before this Court.

3. Since the name of the petitioner was already removed from the History Sheet maintained in the second respondent police station, I am of the opinion, nothing survives in this petition for adjudication. Hence, recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the writ petition is closed.
