Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 7.5.2007 PEC/Estt/E2/DPC/2007 No.1984 and quash the same and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to prepare the seniority list and grant promotion to the petitioners for the post of mechanic based on the recruitment rules.
