The learned Advocate General has made a mention that as against the orders of this court, the Anna University is admitting the students in the EWS quota and also as against the policy of the State Government.

2. Mr.Vijayakumar, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Anna University has filed an Affidavit of the Registrar and submits that though some candidates have been sponsored under EWS quota, the Anna University is not admitting any student under the EWS quota as against the policy of the State Government.

3. In view of the submissions of the learned counsel for the Anna University, this court is of the view that no further order is necessary in this petition. Accordingly, it is closed. 12.3.2021.
