2. However, it is stressed by Mr.B.Arvind Srevatsa, learned counsel for the plaintiff that the cause of action for institution of the suit arose within the jurisdiction of this Court at Chennai where an agreement was entered into and monies pursuant to such agreement has been transferred by the plaintiff from their Bank Account at Chennai.

3. Learned counsel also stated that the agreement dated 25.06.2018 assigning the entire world satellite rights in all Indian languages had also been entered into at Chennai, and that the agreement also specifically provides that in cases of disputes the jurisdiction to adjudicate such disputes would be Courts in Chennai. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis/ 1/2

4. In view of this fact, it is evident that the parties have agreed to confer jurisdiction to Courts at Chennai.

5. Leave to sue is granted. Application is allowed.

6. Registry is directed to number the plaint, if it is otherwise in order.
