Respondents Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, pertaining to the illegal custody or illegal detention of the detenu G.Baskaran M/A 29 years son of (Late) Govindasamy and consequently direct the respondent to produce the detenu before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.) This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to cause production of the detenue G.Baskaran, aged 29 years before this Court and set him at liberty.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that her son G.Baskaran, aged about 29 years went missing in connection with which a case in Cr.No.1477 of 2015 for "man missing" has been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
registered on 11.10.2015 and investigation is in progress. Earlier, the said Baskaran had eloped with one Yamuna, in connection with which a case in M-5 Ennore Police Station Cr.No.1726 of 2014 was registered and Yamuna was secured and handed over to her brother. The respondent police have filed a Status Report detailing the steps that have been taken by them for securing the said detenu. From the Status Report we find that there is no illegal detention of the said detenu, who is a major aged about 29 years warranting issuance of Writ of Habeas Corpus. Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed with a direction to the respondent police to proceed with the investigation in Cr.No.1477 of 2015 and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any.
